At the beginning of September, the light already dresses itself in cooler shades, the sun’s embrace lingers as a memory on the skin, and summer winds greet the brisker rhythm of everyday life. Toes slip into woollen socks, mossy hummocks don their mushroom caps, the shimmer of darkness calls to the new moon, and daylight escapes beneath a blanket of stars.

At the Kuopio Symphony Orchestra’s concerts, you are always a step above the everyday. The free concert offers delightful musical tasters as well as information about the autumn season’s programme. The evening is crowned with surprises that can only be discovered by coming in person.
