The Kuopio Symphony Orchestra offers significant discounts for students on ticket prices for most of the KSO concerts.

Student

Students as well young adults and youth under the age of 20 can enjoy the KSO season concerts for the price of 4 euros if the ticket is purchased on the day of the concert. More information on student ticket prices you will find in Tickets page.

Collaboration with educational establishments

The Kuopio Symphony Orchestra has collaborated with the local vocational institutes, universities of applied sciences and the University of Eastern Finland and with their Students’ unions. We welcome any thoughts and ideas on different forms of collaboration as well as seasonal or long-term collaborative projects.

The Kuopio Symphony Orchestra has for several years taken part in light-hearted checkpoint events aimed at university student tutors, in which student teams compete with one another while getting to know the activities of the Kuopio Music Centre and the Kuopio Symphony Orchestra through humor.
