In addition students and persons under the age of 20 may purchase a ticket for a Season Concert on the day of the performance for 4 euros.

The above mentioned prices include the Kuopio Music Centre service fee 2 €/ticket. The service fees vary depending on the place of purchase.

SEASON TICKETS

The Kuopio Symphony Orchestra’s season includes a concert series of 8 Season Concerts. All the concerts of the series are different concerning the performers and the programme.

You can enjoy the whole series by purchasing a Season Ticket and with the Season Ticket you are granted priviledges over the whole season:

approximately 20 % off the basic price compared to purchasing 8 single tickets to the Season Concert Series
discounts from concert tickets and other benefits during the season

The Season Concerts are usually held on Thursdays at 7 pm at the Kuopio Music Centre Concert Hall.

The Season Tickets are sold at the Kuopio Music Centre ticket sales, Kuopio City Theatre ticket sales, Sokos Kuopio and other Lippupiste ticket outlets around the country, R kiosks and Lippupiste online store at www.lippu.fi.

CHILDREN AND STUDENTS

Kuopio Symphony Orchestra offers children and students and opportunity to explore the world of a symphony orchestra by organising, for example, open rehearsals and school concerts both at the Kuopio Music Centre and at local schools as well as providing them with discount tickets to various concerts.

Kuopio Symphony Orchestra’s Season concert tickets are available for students and persons under the age of 20 for the price of 4 € (price including ticket, service fee, concert programme and cloakroom service) as follows:

– the ticket should be purchased at the Kuopio Music Centre Ticket sales on the day of the concert
– to access the discount price a valid student card chould be presented when purchasing the ticket
– the discount price is only valid if there are still tickets left
– the discount price can only be applied to the Season Concert Series (8 concerts during the spring season and 8 concerts the autumn season)
– the discount price does not apply to any special concerts
– persons under the age of 20 are also entitled to the same discount price (age must be verified when purchasing the ticket)

There are also other significant benefits on ticket prices for children and students to other Kuopio Symphony Orchestra concerts (min. 40 % discount). Here are some examples on based on Spring 2020 prices:
