SUPER AUTUMN BREAK: INSTRUMENT INTRODUCTION

What does the lowest sound in a symphony orchestra sound like? What’s the difference between a trumpet and a French horn? Come and find out!

The Kuopio Symphony Orchestra invites you to a brief Instrument Introduction Session at the Kuopio Music Centre during the Super Autumn Break on Thursday, October 16th, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The instruments displayed will be violin, viola ja double bass (strings) as well as horn and trumpet (brass). There will also be a possibility to try and play a string instrument.

These instrument demos are perfect for anyone enjoying the autumn break, especially school-aged children. Admission is free, and no advance registration is required. Each demo session can accommodate up to 25 participants.
