This free outdoor concert is what the Kuopio Symphony Orchestra’s audience has requested! Come and enjoy the KSO sound and ensemble in all its glory. The first concert in the orchestra’s history at the centre of the world will be performed under the baton of its Chief Conductor. The programme highlights, for example, classical hits, beautiful melodies and vibrant rhythms.

Soprano Sonja Herranen, the winner of the latest Elizabeth Connell Prize competition in London, will enchant the audience together with the KSO with her interpretations of Jean Sibelius’s songs.

The event is weather dependent. In case of bad weather the concert will be held at the Kuopio Music Centre Concert Hall.
