CITY OF KUOPIO INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
Sunday 06.12.2026 at 1pm Kuopio Music Centre Concert Hall
Welcome to the City of Kuopio Independence Day Celebration open to all citizens!
The Kuopio Symphony Orchestra will perform at the event.
Before the celebration, there will be a musical programme in the Music Centre’s Hall of Light. The Kuopio Music Centre’s Restaurant Oodi cafeteria will be open from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at visitors’ own expense.
The celebration is open to all residents and free of charge.
(The Concert Hall has a capacity of 900 people.)
The duration of the celebration is approximately one hour.
Organised by the City of Kuopio Community Services in cooperation with the Kuopio Conservatory.
Free admission.
