Classical singing class performs Mozart’s opera ensembles 8th of April

Scenes from Le Nozze di Figaro and Cosí fan Tutte in the online concert

The Kuopio Symphony Orchestra’s online concert Seduced by Opera on 8 April, 2021 at 7 pm introduces students of Vocal Arts and Classical Singing at the School of Music and Dance / Savonia University of Applied Sciences. The programme consists of opera ensembles from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s beloved operas such as Idomeneo, Le Nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni and Cosi fan Tutte. The concert livestreamed from the Kuopio Music Centre Concert Hall is conducted by Atso Almila.

The programme of the KSO online concert Seduced by Opera consists of opera ensembles from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s beloved operas. The soloists will be students of Vocal Arts and Classical Singing at the School of Music and Dance / Savonia University of Applied Sciences: Anne-Mari Kraft, Anna Adamopoulou, Sanna Nissinen, Kirsi Alanko, Anu Liukkonen, Ossi Ruoho, Vertti Aittola, Petrus Marjanen and Ossi Putkonen. The students have been coached by Annastiina Tahkola, teacher of Vocal Arts and Classical Singing.

The concert is hosted by Annastiina Tahkola and Atso Almila, duration approximately 1 hour.

The livestream concert will be published on the KSO’s YouTube Channel and the KSO’s website.  The concert is available at the KSO’s YouTube Channel until the end of the spring season 2021. The concert will be livestreamed on the 8th of April in cooperation with Taustamarkkinat BGMT Oy.
