The restrictions concerning public events have been extended until 20 January, 2022 by the Regional State Administrative Agency of Eastern Finland. Organising events indoors is only possible for at most 50 participants. Introducing the COVID-19 passport as an alternative for the existing corona restrictions does not grant access to events.

Due to the latest restrictions all the events at the Kuopio Music Centre and events organized by the Kuopio Symphony Orchestra during this period until 20 January, 2022 will be postponed to a later date. In addition to the Minna’s Heaven opera performances also the Blue Earth concerts for the disabled, for pre-school and day care centre groups as well as the evening concert for families will be rescheduled.

New dates for these performances will be announced as soon as possible. Practices concerning tickets already purchased to the above mentioned events and possible refunds will be announced into more detail during the first week of the year 2022.

Kuopio Music Centre and Kuopio Symphony Orchestra wish to extend their gratitude for the audience’s continued patience and understanding during these changes. We wish you all a happy new year!
