The duration of the matinee concert is approximately 1 hour. The concert is aimed primarily at elderly customers and, for example, residents of assisted living facilities, memory care facilities and nursing homes for senior citizens.

Reino Helismaa is one of the most prolific and significant Finnish lyricists of all time. His music and lyrics continue to live on, playing on the radio, on dance floors, and in musical performances. During his career that ended all too early, Helismaa made film music musical and showtunes for musicals, among other things, and translated schlagers. His versatile work has not been previously heard in Finland arranged for a large orchestra. The concert will go through the master’s work, supported by Seppo Hovi’s wonderful background stories about the advent and history of the reconstruction era entertainment. There is so much to sing about!
