Guess what movie! is an evening for movie buffs and brainiacs as well as movie music enthusiasts!

Music composed to a story line or the music choices for a movie support the narrative of a live pictures and also carry the story onwards. Symphonic music is often used in movies to support the ambience and atmosphere.

In this concert you will have a unique chance to test your knowledge about music in the world of movies – being either classics or more current compositions – in a live concert movie quiz. The concert will include music, for example, from movies such as Robin Hood, Mission Impossible and Austin Powers as well as from Finnish movies like the Super Guinea Pig 2 (free translation, in finnish called “Supermarsu 2”), Tale of a Forest and Tale of a Lake (in finnish called “Metsän tarina” and “Järven tarina”).

If you’re not a movie buff or a connoisseur, do not worry. Just come and enjoy amazing movie music and feel the power of a live symphony orchestra.

The concert is part of the Kuopio Music Centre Open House Day.
