The most beloved christmas carols will close the orchestra’s autumn season and start your Christmas. Nostalgic and familiar melodies bring back memories and create the Christmas spirit. One of the most important Finnish traditions during the Christmas Season is singing together – in this concert you can either sing along or just enjoy the vocals of the UEF Kuopio Student Choir’s singers who also perform with their own numbers. The choir is rehearsed by its director Richard Nicholls and the concert is conducted by Atso Almila. Choir members Sonja Bolkart and Helmi Taipale will host the concert.
