We Can Be Heroes at KSO concert on 24 September

Iconic music from Star Wars, Batman, Superman, Hunger Games etc.
On Friday 24th of September at 7 pm we will meet heroes from different films at the Kuopio Music Centre Concert Hall. The KSO will play music from The Star Wars, Batman, Superman, The Hunger Games, Mad Max and Iron Man among others. The orchestra is conducted by Atso Almila and the soloist will be Swedish soprano Sabina Zweiacker. The concert is hosted in English by Orvar Säfström, Swedish game and film specialist.
With the success of the game music concert SCORE we are very happy to present a new collaboration with Orvar Säfström and Sabina Zweiacker on the 24th of September. At the WE CAN BE HEROES concert heroes come in many different shapes and we meet, among others, BATMAN, THOR and the intriguing Furiosa in MAD MAX: FURY ROAD.
We fight side by side with Katniss in THE HUNGER GAMES, battle horrific space creatures with Ripley in ALIENS and save humanity from the machines with Sarah Connor in THE TERMINATOR. Add to this John William’s compositions from RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK and STAR WARS – THE FORCE AWAKENS. The concert ends with Hans Zimmer’s iconic music from GLADIATOR.
The duration of the concert is about 1 hour 50 min with an intermission.
Tickets: 25 / 20 / 11 €. The prices include the Kuopio Music Centre service fee 2 € / ticket. The service fees vary depending on the place of purchase.
