Karita Mattila's concerts rescheduled to September 2021

Tickets for the original dates will remain valid for the new dates
The concerts of one of the world’s most popular sopranos, Karita Mattila and KSO at the Kuopio Music Centre on 3rd and 4th of September 2020 are rescheduled to 2021. The new dates for the concerts are 2nd and 3rd of September 2021. In the beginning of the next autumn season the restrictions of the corona virus epidemic are likely and would cause a situation where all the ticket buyers couldn’t be admitted to the concerts.
La Karita celebrates her 60th anniversary in 2020. In the concerts she will be performing songs by the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius. The orchestra will play under the baton of its own Chief Conductor Jaakko Kuusisto who will also make new orchestral arrangements for these beloved songs.
Tickets purchased to the performance on Thu 3 September, 2020 are valid as such also for the Fri 2 September, 2021 concert. Tickets purchased to the performance on Fri 4 September, 2020 are valid as such also for the Fri 3 September, 2021 concert. In case the new concert date is not suitable, the tickets are refundable. The tickets need to returned by 4 December, 2020 at the latest.
During the summer season fill in the form for the refund Refund Form (in Finnish) or send us eMail to musiikkikeskus (at) kuopio.fi. Starting from 10 August, 2020 the tickets may also be returned and refunded at the Kuopio Music Centre ticket sales Mon-Fri from 12 am until 5 pm tel. 0600 96 100 (1,98 €/ min + local service fee).

The prices include the Kuopio Music Centre service fee 2 € / ticket. The service fees vary depending on the place of purchase.
