POSTPONED - OPERA: MINNA'S HEAVEN

Due to the decree adopted by the Government on temporary restrictions to the use of the COVID-19 passport the premiere of the opera Minna’s Heaven is postponed from the beginning of January 2022 to a later date in the future. Read more (the link opens to a new page).

PREMIERE

The opera Minna’s Heaven is inspired by Minna Canth, a Finnish writer, journalist, intellectual and devout women’s rights advocate. It honors also the life work of other notable cultural figures of her time in the Northern Savo area such as Johan Vilhelm Snellman, Juhani Aho, Venny Soldan-Brofeldt.
