CHRISTMAS CONCERTS AT MATKUS

Come enjoy and sing christmas songs at Matkus Shopping Centre with the Kuopio Symphony Orchestra and conductor Atso Almila! There are two Christmas Concerts: at 1 pm and 3 pm at Matkus ELO Room on the 2nd floor.

The programme inlcudes popular Finnish Christmas songs such as Varpunen jouluaamuna and Sydämeeni joulun teen and the audience can join in the singing with the orchestra’s accompaniment. Two young singers from Lumit, Kuopio Senior High School of Arts, Pinja Myllynen and Selma Kekäläinen will act as lead singers in the community singing. There will also be some orchestra numbers introducing beloved  Christmas songs such as White Christmas by Irvin Berlin and Sleigh Ride by Leroy Anderson.

The audience is also treated with information on the KSO Spring Season 2022 programme and you will also have a chance to win tickets to the KSO concerts. Come join us & get in the Christmas feeling!
