CHAMBER MUSIC ENSEMBLES

In addition to the so called normal symphony concerts the Kuopio Symphony Orchestra's ensembles also perform chamber music in its many forms. These ensembles bring musical greetings for example to the homes for the elderly, day-care centers, schools and workplaces. The chamber music concerts organised outside of the Concert Hall bring the orchestra and its musicians closer to the public with a different repertoire and in more intimate settings. This form of orchestral activity is also an essential part of the orchestra's mission as a municipal service.
